Try this One Continuous Line Drawing Art Challenge!

- This technique allows you to side-step potential drawing frustrations students might encounter.
- Students find it easy to create a drawing so you are free to move on to teaching your desired media techniques.
- It is extremely easy to teach continuous line drawing techniques! Yay!
For example, in this One Continuous Line Sun Drawing lesson, students will be challenged to draw an entire sun using a black marker, including a smiling face with ONLY ONE LINE! This means they can’t pick up their marker (yes…no erasing either!) the whole time they are drawing! The kids freak out at first! However, they also end up enjoying this slightly nerve-racking, different drawing experience!
My students were a bit nervous… yet really loved this!
The end results turn out pretty funky and unique with plenty of shapes to allow for creative color application.
This is a perfect Beginning or End-of-the-School-Year lesson!
